Increase Your Mech’s Rank To Unlock Rewards
Every mech begins at rank 1. As your mech’s rank increases, various rewards are unlocked. The table below shows which rewards are unlocked as you upgrade your mech rank.
Unlock and Purchase New Weapons
Every mech begins with one primary weapon equipped and an alternate primary you can purchase with HAWKEN Credits (HC) or Meteor Credits (MC). You unlock a third primary weapon, the prestige weapon, at mech rank 5.
To purchase a new primary weapon, select a mech in your garage and click WEAPONS. Select the weapon you want, click BUY, and pay with either HC or MC.

Item Sizes Vary Based on Number of Charges
Items come in three types - Mark I (2-slot), Mark II (3-slot), and Mark III (4-slot). The more charges an item has, the more slots it requires to equip.
You can equip a mech with any combination of items, as long as they all fit into the six total slots.
The only restriction on equipping items is that you cannot equip the same type of item more than once, so you cannot equip both the Shield MK-I and the Shield MK-III on the same mech.
Equip any combination of items that will fit into your mech’s six item slots.
Unlocking Items: Technology Groups
Items are classified into six different technology groups. You unlock technology groups as you earn pilot levels.
Unlocking an technology group allows you to purchase the items in that group using HC. The same items can be purchased at any time using MC.
