Every mech begins at rank 1. As your mech’s rank increases, various rewards are unlocked. The table below shows which rewards are unlocked as you upgrade your mech rank.

Alternate Weapons
Your mech's alternate primary weapon can be purchased immediately. The prestige weapon unlocks at rank 5.
Elite Mech Parts

Items

Item Sizes Vary Based on Number of Charges

Items come in three types - Mark I (2-slot), Mark II (3-slot), and Mark III (4-slot). The more charges an item has, the more slots it requires to equip.

You can equip a mech with any combination of items, as long as they all fit into the six total slots.

The only restriction on equipping items is that you cannot equip the same type of item more than once, so you cannot equip both the Shield MK-I and the Shield MK-III on the same mech.

Unlocking Items: Technology Groups

Items are classified into six different technology groups. You unlock technology groups as you earn pilot levels.

The Item Regenerator is the only 1-slot item. It is unlocked at Pilot Level 3.

Internals

Internal Sizes Vary Based on Strength

Internals come in three types - basic (1-slot), moderate (2-slot), and advanced (3-slot). The more powerful the internal, the more slots it requires to equip.

You can equip a mech with any combination of internals, as long as they all fit into the six total slots.

The only restriction on equipping internals is that you cannot equip the same type of internal more than once, so you cannot equip both a Basic Reconstructor and an Advanced Reconstructor on the same mech.
